Public spreadsheet tools

On public tool and converter pages, selected spreadsheet files are processed in the browser and are not uploaded to ReconNimble. Public tool and converter routes do not expose spreadsheet file-processing POST endpoints. Local exports are generated by your browser. If you explicitly publish a result, only the summary counts and column names are stored for the share link; result rows are excluded.

Authenticated Reconcile

Reconcile is a separate signed-in workflow with local processing as its default. The optional server workspace uploads and stages files after consent to support server jobs, exports, mappings, resolutions and scheduled summaries. Both workspaces are ad-free and noindex.

Accounts and messages

We store account name, email, password hash, plan and status. Contact messages store the submitted name, email, subject and message. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

Support chat and screenshots

The optional support widget stores the conversation, support reference, current page/tool context and any error text you choose to report. If you attach a screenshot, it is stored in protected support storage and is visible only in that conversation and to ReconNimble support staff. Do not include passwords, OTPs, card details or unnecessary confidential spreadsheet data. Resolved support conversations are deleted after our support retention period.

Usage records

Operational logs may contain route/tool identifiers, status, timestamps, member IDs where relevant and privacy-reduced connection identifiers. Public browser tools do not send spreadsheet cell contents merely to run a comparison.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Essential session and CSRF cookies support security. ReconNimble uses Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage stays off until you allow it; elsewhere it is on by default, and you can turn it off with Privacy choices in the footer. Advertising storage and ad personalisation stay off unless you consent. The Cookie Policy has the details.

Requests

Use the contact form to request access, correction or deletion of account data, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention and operational retention obligations under applicable law.

Hybrid local-first processing

The default signed-in Reconcile workspace now processes two to five files on your device within your plan limit. Saving stores a job name, SHA-256 file hashes, column names, matching rules, summary counts and explicit accept/reject decisions identified by hashes. It excludes source files and exception rows. You can delete saved local metadata in Account → Saved local jobs. The separate server workspace retains the earlier multi-source, profiles and schedules workflow and requires explicit upload consent.

Sharing and optional providers

Public result links contain only the summary and column names you choose to publish, and anyone who has a link can view it. Formula links contain formula inputs and explanations. Avoid publishing confidential identifiers or names. Contact support with the link to request removal. Optional AI receives your typed prompt; never enter secrets.

Retention, deletion and backups

Local file contents remain on your device. Account records and saved metadata remain until deleted or handled through a support request. Server source workspaces and exports use the configured retention controls. Our encrypted database backups may retain deleted database records until backup rotation; the default backup retention setting is 14 days. Security and audit logs are retained for operational review under our hosting policy. A restore can reintroduce older records, so deletion requests must be reapplied after recovery.

Your requests and service providers

Use the Contact page for access, correction, deletion or privacy questions; provide enough account information for verification and never send a password. Hosting and email delivery providers process operational data. If analytics, advertising, AI or payments are enabled, their providers receive the data needed for that feature and may process it in other countries. Current providers are Hostinger (hosting), Google Analytics (analytics) and, when advertising is switched on, Google AdSense. The service is intended for adults managing business data; do not upload children’s data without appropriate authority.

Team, payment and newsletter records

Team owners can grant registered members access to shared column rules. Source files and local results are not shared with the team. Payment checkout, when enabled, sends the order amount and payment information to Razorpay. We retain provider order/payment identifiers, plan, amount, status and access dates. Card details are entered in the provider checkout, not stored by ReconNimble.

Newsletter signup requires an explicit consent checkbox and email confirmation. Email addresses and queued message bodies are encrypted in the database. Consent version, confirmation date, subscription status and delivery status are recorded. Every update includes an unsubscribe link. Pending confirmations expire after 48 hours. A privacy request can be submitted from Account → Security and privacy or the Contact page. Account erasure is reviewed and carried out by ReconNimble support, with any necessary retention explained to the requester.

Offline storage and workflow recipes

Preparing offline tools stores public pages and assets on this device. Locally saved recipe definitions use IndexedDB and contain workflow and column names. Cached Reconcile plan limits expire after seven days. Account recipe saves send the recipe name, identifier, workflow type and key names, never files or results. Offline removal clears the prepared cache, local recipes and cached limits; account recipes are deleted separately in Account → Saved workflow recipes.
