Essential storage
Session cookies protect sign-in, CSRF tokens and administrator actions. The browser stores your privacy choice in localStorage under rn_privacy_choice. After you select Prepare offline tools, the service worker caches public tool pages, scripts, styles, fonts and sample files. It excludes account pages, user source files and account job metadata. Locally saved workflow recipes use IndexedDB. Reconcile plan limits may be retained for up to seven days in rn_offline_plan. rn_visits and a session marker control the repeat-visit installation prompt. The offline removal button clears the prepared copy, recipes and cached limits; browser site-data controls remove other local preferences.
Analytics
ReconNimble uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used. The Google tag loads with Google Consent Mode: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage stays off until you allow it; elsewhere it is on by default. Choosing Essential only turns it off in every region, and Allow optional cookies turns it on. ReconNimble does not send file contents, file names or column values to analytics.
Advertising
When advertising is switched on, Google AdSense ads may appear on public content pages, never inside the Reconcile workspace, account pages or downloads. Advertising storage and ad personalisation stay off unless you choose Allow optional cookies or consent through a certified consent tool, where one is used. Without that consent, Google can show only non-personalised or limited ads. The built-in privacy banner is a basic first-party choice and is not presented as a Google-certified consent management platform.
Change your choice
Use Privacy choices in the footer and choose Essential only or Allow optional cookies. Choosing Essential only after allowing reloads the page so tags that already loaded stop. To remove cookies previously written by third parties, clear this site’s cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not undo a report already collected before withdrawal.
What is outside browser storage
Publishing a result link or saving account metadata sends the disclosed fields to the application database. Those actions are separate from cookie consent. Read Data Handling for the distinction.
